No, you do not need to rake your Webkinz World Garden every day.  However, unlike watering, it is very important to do so.  If you don’t your plants will not grow as fast.  Raking helps to get rid of the weeds that keep your garden plants from being able to keep moist and therefore flourish.  Keeping your Webkinz garden raked every couple of days will ensure a happy garden. 

As to the frequency of raking being associated to the number of plants that can be harvested, I can’t honestly tell you the answer to that. But if you don’t, there will be no plants to harvest at all. 

The most you probably want to go without raking would be about 3-4 days.  Go any longer, and you will see some plants that just did not make it, depending on how long they have been infiltrated with weeds.

Some plants have a faster growth rate than others.  To test about how long it takes for your certain type of plants to grow, a good idea would be to make a test area.  Treat one area with daily raking, another every second day, and so on.  You’ll get to know your plants easier this way.  Note that surrounding plants may have an effect on the growth of your testing, so be sure to keep each area separate untill you have a good feel for what your plants do and don’t take to best.  Three weeks is a good amount of time to test your garden plants for growth.  You will get two to four batches ready for harvesting by then depending on the type of plant you are growing.  Be sure you are testing like plants (strawberries, corn, tomatoes, etc.) as no two types will grow at the exact same rate.

Testing your plants growth will in the end give you less frustration and allow you to have more fun outside of Webkinz World without the stress of wondering whether or not you should opt for outdoor fun or computer time.  Either way, be sure you are having fun.

Webkinz World is one of our favorite sites for kids, for many reason.  A few of those reasons concern the teaching of responsibility, caring, leadership, entrepreneurship making money.  Each of these important lessons can be found in your garden at Webkinz World.

In fact, no, you do not need to water the plants in your Webkinz World garden every day.  I have gone a year without watering my plants and they have been doing just fine.  A glitch in the system?  Maybe.  None the less, you can have as many plants as you want and not ever need to water them.  They’ll grow just as fast.

Weeding is another story.  You must weed.  There is no way around this.  If you don’t things could get pretty out of hand and you’ll end up with a lot of digging, wasted time, and no kinz cash for your efforts.
