Caricatures of your Pet

Ever gotten a caricature done of you or your pet?

Many of us have gotten a caricature done at least of ourselves, family, and friends at a festival or a carnival.  They serve as a memory and give us a fun look at ourselves.  But what about getting a caricature done of your pet.

While most pets aren't allowed at most festivals or carnivals anymore, the popularity of pet caricatures has dissipated, but isn't lost.

Pet supply shops and pet boutiques big and small offer this special service as promotions or during events, so be sure to ask your local pet supply shop or pet boutique if they plan on offering this service at any point in the year.  If they don't it may be something you'd like to suggest.

Here in St. Louis, in Downtown Clayton, my favorite pet boutique Lola and Penelope's offers caricatures of your pup or kitty each year during a variety of events featuring a local artist.  This year, for Halloween your pup can get spooked up in their caricature, or just show off their cuteness.  You can even be in the caricature too.

If you're going to have a party for your pet, this may be something to look into as well.  Caricature artists love to do special events.
