Why do photographs of our closest animal relatives fascinate us so much? This one really gets to me. It seems to capture the essence of happiness. It encapsulates the joy of just being and enjoying the moment:something that this baboon family seems to know all about. The feelings leap out at me and I totally identify with them.
I found this photo by Ryan Learoyd on a wonderful website featuring his work, called Shutter Go Click The shot just made me happy and since we all know what one picture is worth, I wanted to share
The next time I’m feeling worried and anxious about the future, I’m going to look at these baboons and get back to living in the moment, and celebrating the joy of now.
