Yesterday, July thirteenth, was National French Fries Day in America. Yup, you heard me right…. a day to celebrate french fries when a dozen states, mosty in the south, now have obesity rates of 30%or more.To quote Jon Stewart ” that’s HUGE”
Americans have been overfed and under-nourished for decades, but now we have a day to celebrate that fact— Hail to the Baconator which comes in at more than 2,000 calories and, of course, is eaten with French Fries. Forget working out. No need for salad. Let’s all sit on the couch and order in from Burger King.
Happy French Fries Day y’all :-)
